Co-op U participants test the viability of their business model

Co-op U teams have been hard at work these past 8 weeks testing their business model through customer interviews and exploration of the feasibility of their plans through financial modeling. They have been learning about the ins and outs of co-ops and building a strong co-op culture as each week progresses. So far during Co-op U:

  • a food access team has developed a key partnership to make their dream a reality,  

  • a non-profit team has honed and refined their plan to launch an artisan and kitchen incubator co-op for refugees and immigrants

  • a compost co-op is making great strides towards launching
